Meet connected mixes

Family connections

Shared backgrounds, individual dogs. A mix name does not predict traits.

The beginning

Puppy days

Reward checking in during safe, quiet practice, then add distractions gradually. Establish toilet routines and calm introductions rather than assuming a sociable breed needs none.

Your everyday

Adult life

Give the adult nose useful outlets through scent games and exploring on lead. Keep boundaries secure; experience and training do not erase scent-hound instincts.

Everyday care

Brush the short coat regularly to remove shed hair. Combine daily walks with searching games and company; use a secure area for free play.

Worth planning for: An interesting scent can override recall, and the distinctive hound voice may matter to nearby neighbours.
