The breed finder
The matching calculation runs in your browser. The site does not send quiz answers to an application server. Your preferences and comparison choices may be saved on this device so you can pick up where you left off. You can clear them using the controls in the quiz or comparison page.
Hosting and external links
The hosting provider may process normal request information such as your IP address and browser details to deliver the site. Linked organizations have their own privacy policies. This site contains no advertising or payment processing.
Optional Google Analytics
If you choose Allow analytics, Google Analytics measures page visits and broad actions such as starting or completing the questionnaire and adding a comparison. We do not send quiz answers, household details, country or climate selections, search text, saved matches or comparison contents. Analytics uses a clean page address without query strings or fragments, and external referrers are reduced to their website origin.
Google may process normal technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Advertising personalization, Google Signals, user-provided data and automatic enhanced measurement are disabled. Event and user data retention is two months. Analytics cookies and your choice last up to 90 days. The privacy page, error page and local previews do not collect analytics.
Use Analytics choices in the footer to decline or withdraw permission at any time. Declining keeps the questionnaire fully available. Your choice is stored on this browser; when you withdraw, the site disables collection and removes its analytics cookies before reloading. Google privacy policy.
Illustrations
Original puppy and adult artwork was created for Breed Match Guide with imagegen. Illustrations are examples rather than photographs or predictions of an individual dog’s appearance. Mixed backgrounds can look very different.
