Breed tendencies vary between dogs. Supervise children and dogs together. Cats and small pets need an individual compatibility assessment.

Meet connected mixes

Family connections

Shared backgrounds, individual dogs. A mix name does not predict traits.

The beginning

Puppy days

Reward four paws on the floor before jumping becomes a powerful habit. Use varied, short lessons and positive introductions, with quiet rest between lively play sessions.

Your everyday

Adult life

Continue daily exercise, varied training and secure play. Obedience, agility foundations or other activities can channel enthusiasm; practise polite greetings around children and frail visitors.

Everyday care

Brush the short coat weekly and bathe occasionally. Provide ample daily exercise on lead or in a secure area, alongside regular nails and tooth brushing.

Worth planning for: Bouncy greetings can knock people over, and some Boxers are less tolerant of same-sex dogs.
