The beginning

Puppy days

Keep dangerous objects out of reach. Teach gently and avoid strenuous, high-impact exercise while the body is developing.

Your everyday

Adult life

Provide daily active outings or secure running. After suitable exercise, many settle comfortably with their people; individuals still vary.

Everyday care

Brush and comb the silky coat several times weekly, checking feathering and ears. Monitor food portions and keep tempting food out of reach.

Worth planning for: A keen nose and prey drive require secure outdoor management.
