The beginning

Puppy days

Introduce fold checks and handling gently. Practice reward-based exchanges for chews and calm, supervised introductions.

Your everyday

Adult life

Use short walks to support fitness, adjusting to breathing and weather. Continue basic manners and supervision around children.

Everyday care

Brush several times weekly and keep skin folds clean and dry. Avoid overheating; supervise carefully near water.

Worth planning for: Low exercise needs do not remove breathing, skin or heat concerns.
